I've been out and about a few times over the last week or so looking for birds, but surprisingly little of interest.  Spent most of a day at Arne earlier this week trying to find a Wryneck, but no luck.

Anyway, here are a few snaps from the last week or so.  First up, a nice Sparrowhawk in the garden this morning.  Photo through the double glazing, so I'm pleased it's come out quite sharp.

A trip to the New Forest to try and find an early Ring Ouzel was unsuccessful - just a few Wheatears about.

I popped to Winterbourne Downs.  Very distant Stone Curlew as usual, plus a Sparrowhawk.

And I've been to Hengistbury Head a few times, hoping for Wrynecks, but just loads of Stonechats.  Interesting to see the cruise ships moored up in Weymouth Bay though.
