Just back from a few days on the Somerset Levels, staying near Glastonbury.  One of the things I wanted to do was take some photos of the sunrise, sunset and moonrise around Glastonbury Tor.  Was quite lucky with the weather - nice clear nights and misty mornings.  Below are a few shots.  The sunrise photos were taken from Wearyall Hill.  The sunset photos from the top of the Tor.  The moonrise photos from a drove a few km out on the levels.

While there, made a couple of visits to Catcott Lows where Cattle Egrets were present.  Only the 8 there when I visited, but flew quite close on occasion.  I also managed to see a male Hen Harrier do a quick fly by.

I popped to Cheddar reservoir one afternoon in hope of seeing 3 (relatively) unusual birds.  Grey Phalarope, Black Tern and Little Gull.  Managed to see all 3.

And finally a couple of other photos from Ham Wall and Steart.
